Audrey Beckhart

A 21 year old young woman born to one of the richest families in Hollowgrove and the sister of Gabriel Beckhart. Praised for her beauty and wealth despite suffering from depression and a lack of self esteem, Audrey is disillusioned with her popular status and longs for a normal life, which slowly begins to pull her closer to the rest of the Assembly members. Since book two, she has experienced frightening blackouts and struggles with the threat of a violent stalker.

Amelia Pine

A 19 year old believer and former best friend to Audrey Beckhart, Pine was approached early on by the Beckharts due to her knowledge of all things extraterrestrial and cryptid. She is often at odds with Audrey due to their falling out five years before, but has slowly begun to open up to her despite her fiery iron will. Tomboyish, sarcastic and free-spirited, Amelia serves as the heart of the group that keeps everyone's eyes on their ultimate goal. Since book one, she has been in a relationship with Lycan Blackrock.

She is described with copper red hair, bright green eyes and is rarely seen without her signature beanies.

Ivy Rein

A 7 year old child found sometime before the events of book one after being chased by a monster. Due to her traumatic experience, Ivy refuses to speak a word and instead relies on written words or sign language to communicate with others. The Assembly find her at the start of book one, under the care of her foster mother Kathryn, and soon enlist her as a consultant due to her impossible knowledge of the creatures and town itself. Without her true identity or backstory, very little is known about Ivy. The only thing the group knows for sure is the constant presence of Magnus, the German Shepherd of whom saved her from the monster, that hasn't left her side since.

She is described with long brown hair, brown eyes and is partial to dresses and boots.

Quinton Lim

A 24 year old aspiring filmmaker and new best friend of Amelia Pine after her and Audrey's fallout. Quinton joins the team upon Pine's invite, due to his role as a believer of which makes him an outcast amongst the townsfolk. He is an avid horror fan, making him more attracted to the creepier side of the supernatural, but still remains one of the most knowledgeable members of the cryptids themselves. Suffering many medical drawbacks and extreme social anxiety, Quinton struggles to control his dry and sardonic personality which often pits him as the most intolerable member despite his secret affection for the others. Born in Korea, his parents moved to Hollowgrove when he was very young. Like Amelia and Lycan, Quinton was bullied growing up.

He is described with spiky black hair, brown eyes, unusually pale skin and mostly only ever wears black.

Troy Brooke

30 year old believer and owner of the Pizza Shack, Troy is the last to be approached by the group in joining the Sleuth Assembly. Having arrived in Hollowgrove five years prior and established himself well inside the town, the eccentric and laid back surfer quickly gained popularity due to his wild tales of finding various cryptids and, of course, his tantalizing pizzas. His upbeat and optimistic personality often serves as a breath of fresh air for the group, yet it starts to become clear little by little that Troy truthfully masks a deep and painful secret. After his initiation, Troy provides to the group the use of his trusty van, and apparent home, Valhalla.

He is described with shoulder length blonde hair, brown eyes and often wears clothes unsuitable for Washington weather.

Lycan Blackrock

A 19 year old young Native American man and loyal boyfriend of Amelia Pine, Lycan is the last to officially join the core Assembly members. Having known Amelia and secretly harboring an enormous crush for years, the two finally became a couple when he took her on a date to a grand cryptid festival. Though not as vocal, he shares her and Quinton's passion for the supernatural which quickly makes him an ally to the group. Serving as an employee at Talbot's Den since he was young, Lycan grew to be as close as a son to Russell Talbot, the shop itself becoming a sanctuary given his violent upbringing. Despite being known for his rebellious and tough exterior, he is deeply compassionate and completely in love with Amelia, serving as quite the protective warrior when the time calls for it. Since book one, he has been having disturbing dreams of which starts to weigh heavily on his psyche.

He is described as incredibly handsome, with shaggy black hair, dark features and is prone to wearing punk-styled clothing.

Ripley Ravenwood

The prestigious mayor of Hollowgrove and Casper City, Ripley Ravenwood comes from a long line of political power, a background of which grants him considerable respect from the people. Known for his immense charm and capable nature, the esteemed mayor is often treated more like a celebrity than a politician, something that causes suspicion amongst those who question his true intentions. Little else is known about Ripley's personal life beyond what he shares to the media, but one thing is for sure-- he knows more about the mysteries than he lets on.

He is described with shoulder-length jet black hair, dark eyes, a thin body frame and is rarely seen without his trusty cane and grey suits.

Russell Talbot

The middle-aged owner of Talbot's Den and an eventual invaluable ally of the Sleuth Assembly, Russell Talbot is the stuff of legend amongst the believer community, serving as an expert in all fields of cryptids and extraterrestrial beings alike. With this respect also comes criticism, however, as many townsfolk see him in a rather distasteful light. He has known his employee and righthand man, Lycan, ever since he was a boy and thus treats him like a son. It is made known that Talbot, as well as Falcon and Poe, were once expert monster hunters in their early years.

He is described as bald, somewhere in his sixties, has greying facial hair and usually can be seen in a blue button-up shirt.
